CX pics

Here are a couple amusing pics from the Blue Sky Velo cyclocross race:


There was a muddy dip on the course and on my first practice lap I was riding pretty slow to see if I could just ride through it. The dip is big enough and the mud mushy enough that I almost went over the bars.


I ended up getting my left foot out of the pedal and plopping it into the mud. In this next picture from the later in the race, you can see how my left shoe is all muddy. (And you can also see how I lifted my bike up earlier than I really needed too. You'd think that I'd want to leave my heavy bike on the ground as much as possible, but I guess not.)
