Race season is over
My last race of the year was last weekend in Grand Junction. The short story - I got dropped early. It was an 85 mile course with a lot of climbing and I just haven't been feeling that well lately. I finished 20th out of a field of probably about 30. Not my most stellar performance, but I was glad to have done it.

Season over already? That didn't seem to last long.
ReplyDeleteWith nice weather still, I guess that means you get to ride for fun more instead of just training/racing.
Yeah, it seems kind of odd. Fall weather in Colorado is some of the best for riding, yet last road race of the season is next weekend. We start early and end early for some reason. It's a topic of discussion that comes up every spring on the local message boards.
