Christine and I want to have an outdoor wedding in the spring or fall. Got any suggestions for fun outdoor venues that won't break the bank? It would be kind of nice to have the reception at the same place, but it's not a requirement.
We're also accepting applications for flower arrangers and reception DJ's. ;)
How many-ish people?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it wouldn't work for you but while on the subject: I saw a small wedding at the Garden of the Gods but there is no way you could have the reception there. That said, it was stunning...those pictures all had to be gorgeous.
I'm not sure how many people. We'll likely keep the size smaller for the wedding, and invite more people to the reception because I think it'll be easier to find an ourdoor venue if we don't have to accomodate the entire guest list. Garden of the Gods would be cool. Maybe we can have a reception afterwards at Focus on the Family.
ReplyDeleteI know this cute chick who does wedding flowers. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou should send me her contact info.
ReplyDeleteI've also seen weddings at the Garden. One of my coworkers was married there. The photos are beautiful. Their wedding was in the fall and the weather and foliage played along nicely.
ReplyDeleteI have the song about the potato and the tomato and the oysters, and can hit "Play" at the correct time...
