I thought I'd check out Bloglines for reading LiveJournal and various RSS feeds, but it seems to be missing something. I can't get it to show "friends-only" posts, because it has no way to authenticate with LJ (I guess). I've tried using a URL like: http://username:password@www.livejournal.com/users/username/data/rss, but it still doesn't work. Has anyone used Bloglines to view LJ posts?
So maybe I can't get Bloglines to work the way I want. Does anyone have a recommendation for another RSS reader? There's a ton of them out there, but I have no idea which ones are actually good.
