Garden Success

We have some early success in the garden.

We have a tiny little serrano pepper:

We have a tiny little tomato:

And our spinach seeds have sprouted:

We've had a couple casualties too. Our cantaloupe died pretty quickly. We also had some snow peas that didn't make it. I don't know what did the melon in, but I think the snow peas got damaged in all the fussing of setting up some netting. Eventually we hope to get back the the greenhouse to find some replacement plants.

Snow peas and spinach need to be planted pretty early here - March or April. My spinach has already bolted and we have gotten very little. I'll race you for first tomato and pepper.
